Wali Kota Lubuk Linggau Hadiri Pelantikan PC PMII dan PC KOPRI serta Buka Bersama Keluarga Besar PMII
LUBUK LINGGAU – Wali Kota Lubuk Linggau, H. Rachmat Hidayat, menghadiri pelantikan Pengurus Cabang Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PC PMII) dan Pengurus Cabang Korps PMII Putri (PC KOPRI) Lubuk Linggau sekaligus buka bersama keluarga besar PMII Lubuk Linggau di Hotel Cozy Lubuk Linggau, Senin (9/3/2026).
Kegiatan tersebut mengusung tema “Akselerasi Peran Strategis PMII Lubuk Linggau di Era Teknologi Membangun Gerakan Visioner dan Solutif.” Acara ini dihadiri para kader, alumni PMII, tokoh masyarakat serta sejumlah pejabat di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Lubuk Linggau.
Ketua PC PMII Lubuk Linggau, M. Arka, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh kader yang telah bekerja keras mempersiapkan pelantikan tersebut.
Ia menuturkan bahwa kebersamaan dan semangat kader PMII menjadi motivasi utama dalam menjalankan roda organisasi.
“Terima kasih kepada seluruh kader PMII yang telah mempersiapkan agenda pelantikan ini dengan maksimal. Ada satu kalimat yang selalu menjadi motivasi saya, ketika kita percaya bahwa Tuhan tidak pernah tidur, maka kita harus yakin bahwa perjuangan kita tidak akan pernah sia-sia,” ujarnya.
Arka juga menegaskan komitmennya untuk mengabdikan waktu dan tenaga dalam membina kader serta mengawal berbagai kebijakan yang berpihak pada masyarakat.
Sementara itu, Wali Kota Lubuk Linggau, H. Rachmat Hidayat, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada kepengurusan PC PMII dan PC KOPRI yang baru dilantik.
Ia berharap PMII dapat terus menjadi organisasi mahasiswa yang aktif berkontribusi dalam pembangunan daerah serta melahirkan kader-kader yang berintegritas.
“Kami mengucapkan selamat kepada saudara Arka dan seluruh pengurus yang telah dilantik. Semoga ke depan PMII Lubuk Linggau dapat membawa perubahan dan terus berkontribusi dalam pembangunan Kota Lubuk Linggau,” ungkapnya.
Wali kota juga menegaskan bahwa pemerintah kota terbuka terhadap kritik dan masukan dari organisasi kemahasiswaan, termasuk PMII. (ADV)
